Every day brings us a chance to start over.
We all have those stand-down moments – some more so than others in these never-ending months of 2020 and 2021 with Covid-19 affecting daily life. Those moments that require us to just stop and centre ourselves, to clear the way for truth and transformation.
Sometimes those moments are painful moments.
Though it’s hard to imagine ‘how can this happen to me’:
- when you lose a loved one; or
- what you thought was a perfect relationship crumbles; or
- when the parental responsibilities, the job or the business that defined you for 20 years is gone; or
- when the people you counted on, turned their backs on you; or
- dysfunctional family dynamics you thought were normal are no longer tolerable.
By just stopping and centring yourself, to clear the way for truth and transformation, you may actually be taking a step forward on the path to your truest desires and ultimately to your destiny.
Perceived failure is just life trying to move us in another direction.
Even devastation is there to bring us closer to being more of who we are. In the midst of turmoil, we have the capability to remind ourselves to get still, release expectations, to let go and listen for the treasures in the experience. To hear and feel our intuition speaking from within, and always be guided to our deepest truth and the next right step.
What a blessing, as human-beings we can do such a thing – to give ourselves grace and explore the good in any situation. When we stop, centre ourselves, become observant, and less reactive we can then find the gifts awaiting us that are buried in every problem.
When we trust in the generosity of the ever-present and shift our focus to what’s possible, courageously releasing our fears, releasing our resistance, we can connect with the truth that every challenge really opens a new door, bringing us closer to our destiny.
