Live in the Question: a short lesson, and a powerful daily practice. Our mind is a dangerous thing. It cannot be infinite and unlimited. Whenever you have an answer, that’s the sum total of what can show up for us. But when you live in the question instead, then endless possibilities are available.
I came across this notion when I was handed a small book titled Money Isn’t the Problem. You Are! written by Access Consciousness founder Gary Douglas earlier this year.
Gary’s recommendation was instead of asking ourselves and others limited questions like How do I get from Point A to Point B, which is making our mind try to figure out the course to take, the path to follow: First, do this, then do this, then this… to practice Living in The Question.
The question in this case is: What would it take for ________ to show up?
When you live in the question you create an invitation. When you ask: What would it take for _______ to show up? then the universe will give you opportunities for that to happen.
Adopt an unlimited point of view with the question:
What would it take for _______ to show up?
Living in the question feels far healthier and open to me. It was a lesson I learned by chance and has been added to my daily journalling practice.
