Free eBook: Empowering Workplace Transformation

Download My Free eBook on TED* and 3VQ for Managing Psychosocial Risk

In today’s rapidly changing business landscape, creating a workplace culture that is empowered, engaged, and resilient has never been more important. The challenges of managing psychosocial risks are real. These include stress, burnout, and interpersonal conflict. They must be addressed to foster a thriving, high-performing team. I remember David Emerald saying, “I’ve never come across a problem that cannot be resolved with the 3 Vital Questions.”

In honour of the late David Emerald (1954-2025), co-founder of the Center for the Empowerment Dynamic, I collated a recent 10-part blog series into one eBook. I creatively zhooshed it up a little as a way to distract myself in a time of sudden change.

David and I had been gradually working together to create a plan for introducing his work to the Asia-Pacific region for the past two years. He had read and shared each blog in the 10-part series, and we often discussed how his TED* and 3 Vital Questions (3VQ) frameworks could help Australian business leaders navigate compliance with the Code of Practice for Psychosocial Risk Management.

In April, we started intensifying our marketing efforts. David shared his expertise and provided run sheets, thinking through everything I needed to prepare for Asia Pacific’s first time-friendly trainer certification scheduled for June 2025. Unfortunately, in mid-April, David passed away suddenly and peacefully.

The eBook is titled “Empowering Change in Workplace Culture: How TED* and 3VQ Transform Your Approach to Psychosocial Risk Management.

In this ebook, I explore:

  • The Code of Practice for Psychosocial Risk Management and how it can be more than just a compliance tool.
  • How TED* and the 3VQ frameworks empower leaders to create healthier, more resilient work environments.
  • Real-world case studies from organisations like Studio Movie Grill and Driversselect, showcasing the powerful impact of adopting TED* and 3VQ.
  • Practical leadership questions that will help you assess the psychosocial risks in your own organisation and transform your workplace.

Whether you’re a small business owner, a team leader, or part of a larger organisation, this ebook provides you with actionable tools. These tools go beyond just managing problems. Instead, they focus on creating outcome-driven, people-centred solutions.

It’s the end of the financial year 2025: Let’s empower our workforces to thrive this coming year.

As you explore the ebook and dive deeper into TED* and 3VQ, I’d also like to invite you to listen to my four-part podcast series with TED* champion Sheri Lawrence. Sheri has been a pivotal supporter of my mission to bring TED* to Australian workplaces. Together, we’ve shared invaluable insights into how these frameworks can transform leadership and empower teams.

In this short series on my Coffee and Contemplation with Susan Dunlop podcast show, Sheri and I discuss:

  • How TED* helped Sheri navigate complex workplace challenges.
  • Practical stories of how TED* and 3VQ have been implemented successfully.
  • The future of workplace culture and leadership in organisations that prioritise empowering their workforces.

Images show Part 1 and Part 4 of the Four-Part Series – all parts are available to listen to as full episodes or as short soundbites!

The podcast series and this ebook are part of the same mission—helping leaders and organisations create engaged, resilient, and psychologically safe workplaces. Whether you’re reading or listening, I hope these resources empower you. They can help you take actionable steps towards transforming your workplace culture.

Good News! Our June 2025 trainer cohort is now scheduled for 1st to 5th of September 2025, with just three spaces remaining. If you’re inspired to become a certified trainer in David’s work, the APAC trainer certification information and application form is available on the Center for the Empowerment Dynamic’s website now. Complete the application, and I will be in contact to line up a Zoom session with you to talk about your vision for bringing TED* and 3VQ to your clients and to answer any questions.

Take care,

Susan Dunlop
