If you cause something to happen, you can look at the results – be they good or bad – but you are taking ownership in the Cause space.
Whereas if you find yourself giving reasons for why something has happened to you, that’s living in the Effect space.
It’s easier, but in the end, less fulfilling, to have to explain all the reasons something happened to you.
I got my husband, Tom, and I thinking at breakfast – what have we caused and what lessons have we learnt?
Lucky Tom 💃❤️💪
I know I could cross a lot of Effect/Reasons items off my own list by looking at them from a Cause/Results perspective.
Not doing it in a beat ourselves up kind of way but in a releasing baggage and stories one.
What have you caused – good/bad/otherwise and what has it taught you, that you can grow from?
Interesting to contemplate on this rainy Saturday morning in Brisbane.
